“Gay hotel, run down old interior.”
Very nice view, very, good breakfast
Very old furniture, stretched floor, rundown hotel, With family it's was a suprise to arrive to a GAY flagged entrance ...it's a gay hotel basically which is ok, just very loudly showing it's gay friendly.

“Sometimes management need to invest in their best asset - their people!”
I visit Bangkok regularly and mostly stay at the outstanding Banyan Tree hotel. However, my last 3 visits have seen me staying at Pullman g on the executive lounge floor. The staff at the executive lounge generally provide an adequate level of customer service. However, one person goes above and beyond! Henry is consistently the star performer in the executive lounge. His energy and enthusiasm is sadly without peer. I was shattered, therefore, to learn that Henry has tendered his resignation. Henry should be the executive lounge manager, or better yet, the general manager of the hotel. I did enquire at reception to talk to the general manager, to be told “We don’t have a general manager”. Therefore, regrettably I feel the only way for me to express my disdain for Pullman g management is to use this forum. The rooms are dated, the hallways are overdue a makeover. It seems this once 5 star hotel is now struggling to get beyond a 3 star plus. Come on Pullman g, inject some of your profits back into renovation and training. And recognise Henry as the valuable asset he clearly is, and pay him whatever it takes to keep him on the payroll. He could be the hospitality trainer/manager. Standards would rise and guests would receive the level of professionalism for which they are paying.
