“Total disappointment- unhelpful senior management not putting client first”
Overrated and overpriced hotel with unhelpful management. As a globalist received no upgrade to either king corner room or a suite. Instead spent close to 45 minutes at check in and being told that their entire inventory of suites was full - and could only be offered the next night. Was then told that I was been given a deluxe room and this was an upgrade . In any case none of the senior staff even bothered to come and find us - especially the director of rooms who was well aware of the situation. As for the hotel itself - now next to a construction site and the hallways and curtains all look cheap - the decor also dated by now. In contrast to the lack of any engagement by senior management - the crew at the breakfast were very good . Overall a real disappointment and senior management here should really take into account basic service standards . We had just come to Park Hyatt after 2 nights at Shangrila Bangkok - where service was exemplary, this is how a hotel should be run

“Birthdays are special. If we choose to celebrate them in the same place instead of somewhere new, it simply means that p”
Governor Suite Governor Suite is one of the hotel’s suite categories, with only two rooms available. Located on the Nai Lert Park side, it features a spacious living room, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom tucked behind the bedroom, creating a greater sense of privacy. This room category also includes a complimentary non alcoholic minibar as part of the Exclusive Retreat benefits. Arrival Experience Once again, I received the same warm welcome from the team that has always made me enjoy staying here. Before my arrival, Gabriel, the Guest Experience Manager, reached out to me via WhatsApp to discuss my stay and ensure everything was prepared in advance. From replying to emails and WhatsApp messages to handling every request, everything was done promptly and thoughtfully. It reminded me of the original team that first made me fall in love with this hotel. My room was ready before the official check in time, and I was pleasantly surprised to find birthday balloons decorating the suite. Park Hyatt is usually known for its understated and minimalist style, so this thoughtful touch was unexpected. The decoration remained elegant and subtle, perfectly matching the hotel’s identity, and I truly loved it. Exclusive Retreat Exclusive Retreat is available for guests who book directly with the hotel from the Park Executive Suite category and above, excluding complimentary upgrades. The package includes food, beverages, desserts, and a THB 3,000 hotel credit. It is served at Embassy Room on the 9th floor from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The service is divided into three periods: • 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Light refreshments • 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Afternoon Tea • 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM: Evening cocktails Although the service is divided into time slots, guests are welcome to order food and desserts from the menu throughout the operating hours. Alcoholic beverages are available only during the evening cocktail session. Breakfast Breakfast remains largely unchanged, with both an à la carte menu and a small buffet selection. This time, there were a few additional dessert options, along with a lovely surprise of mango sticky rice served with a Happy Birthday message. It was a small gesture that made my birthday morning even more memorable. Afternoon Tea The current Afternoon Tea set was introduced around June, and the theme changes every three months. One noticeable improvement is that the pastries are now smaller, making it much easier to enjoy a wider variety compared to previous sets, where the portions were quite large. The sweetness is well balanced, and guests can also choose additional desserts from the dessert trolley. Having visited for Afternoon Tea many times, I would like to offer one small suggestion. Many of the desserts are still mousse based. Introducing a wider variety of pastries and different textures would make each seasonal menu feel even more exciting and enjoyable. Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, and Exclusive Retreat are all looked after by the Embassy Room team, who continue to provide consistently outstanding service. A special thank you goes to Bas, whose attentiveness and genuine hospitality always make every visit feel special. Sunday Brunch at Penthouse Grill For this stay, I used my Exclusive Retreat credit for Sunday Brunch at Penthouse Grill. I first experienced this brunch around two years ago, shortly after it was introduced. At that time, there was a much wider selection of seafood, including lobster, along with many more options overall. Today, the brunch focuses heavily on beef, while the seafood selection has been significantly reduced. The presentation of both the dishes and the dessert display also feels less refined than it was during the early days. What disappointed me more, however, was the interaction with the Outlet Manager. While asking for my feedback, I had not even finished sharing my thoughts before he began explaining and defending the restaurant’s concept, rather than listening to my comments first. To be clear, I was not making a complaint. I simply wanted to share constructive feedback that might help improve the experience in the future. As someone who does not eat beef, I found the current selection rather limited. Bringing back more seafood and alternative grilled options, similar to what was offered two years ago, would make the brunch more appealing to a wider range of guests. I fully understand that Penthouse Grill is a steakhouse. However, restaurants such as Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok are also steakhouses, yet their Sunday Brunch still offers a generous variety of seafood and other grilled dishes, making the experience more inclusive for guests with different preferences. To be completely honest, if I had not received the THB 3,000 dining credit through Exclusive Retreat, I probably would not have chosen this brunch based on the current menu. Despite a few areas where I believe there is room for improvement, Park Hyatt Bangkok remains the hotel I choose to celebrate my birthday year after year. Because what makes this place truly special is not just the hotel itself, but the people who make every return feel meaningful

“Great service”
We stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok from June 24 to July 3, and it was one of the highlights of our visit to Bangkok. The hotel’s location is simply perfect. With direct access to Central Embassy, immediate access to the BTS Skytrain, and many of Bangkok’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment venues just a short walk away, it is an ideal place to stay whether you are visiting for business or leisure. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. We would especially like to thank Gabriel, Nicholas, Rashed and Ms Cha Cha, who made our stay truly memorable. Their professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to help were exceptional. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was outstanding, with an excellent selection of high-quality dishes. Afternoon Tea was beautifully presented and accompanied by a delicious selection of sweet and savory treats. The service throughout the hotel was impeccable. The infinity pool offers breathtaking views over Bangkok, and the pool staff provided attentive and seamless service at all times. Our room was kept immaculate throughout our stay, housekeeping was flawless, and room service was consistently prompt and professional. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily return to Park Hyatt Bangkok. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Bangkok.
