“Spanish family resort.”
Location near sea and no drunken tourists at nights. It’s a family resort (which can be disadvantaged in some cases). Spacious resort with grass and golf club surrounding the few only one story buildings which makes it very relaxing. Nice area near beach exit gives more privacy then pool area which can get crowed at times.
Limited food options, especially for gluten free. If you are not half or full board often you can’t get into the restaurant and the cafe had three dishes only without gluten (they had gluten free bread and pizza so that’s a plus but no meat or fish options I would prefer. No kettle or coffee maker in a room. Mini bar too small to hold standing bottle of wine. Beach had lots of eating options but gate closes at 21.30 (earlier off season) so you can’t come back easily. Taxis are not too pleased to drive for 3 mins only and walking at 23.30 alone on the road is not optimal or safe. If you are not keen on kids you could get unlucky with people ext door with unruly kids or screaming infant. Staff very pleasant it with generally poor English so often misunderstood questions. Sun beds were limited and people seemed to reserve them from early morning which was a hassle. Would be better if they were allocated with numbers to accommodation. If your room is ground floor you get limited privacy prople waking right under your nose. Some got confused and walked right into my room - innocent accident nevertheless not ideal. Accommodation is not bad but not updated for years. I stayed here in 2009, 2012, 2014 and rooms are still the same. A bit worn out, my curtain was falling off the rails and had a hole in it. Also watch out. I booked double bed but got two single beds stuck together. Not ideal for a single person or a couple. The single bed is no more then about 1m max 1.2 I am used to Kingsize beds.
