“RIPPED ME OFF FOR 150 EUROS!!!”

Beautiful hotel and spacious rooms. BUT.... a 150 Euro food and drinks bill was added to my room. When checking out the desk clerk tells me that around 5PM the day before I ordered food and champagne. Not true. Around 3PM I had food and one glass of wine about 50 Euros. I paid for it with my Visa card. I explained this to the clerk. She was supposed to check with the bar and remove charge. That did not happened. I disputed the charge with my visa card bank. They tried twice to get the hotel to reverse the charge. The hotel refused to do it. So now I am going to complain to Amawaterways who made the reservation and write bad reviews.

“Enjoyable stay”

Lovely hotel and no issue with hot rooms and failing air conditioning. The room was large and comfortable, the bed excellent. The bathroom is very small and really only holds one person at the time, but the shower was good and hot and all amenities are available. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. So many choices and the room where it is set up is beautiful with a glass dome ceiling. That was the highlight of our one night stay before proceeding to a cruise. We definitely would stay there again. I can recommend that hotel.

“A Lovely Start to our Visit in France”

At the beginning of our recent trip to France for a cruise on the Seine, we spent 3 nights in Paris at Maison Astor Paris. Our tour company arranged this. Some previous reviews were very negative about the hotel's lack of air conditioning during this hot summer of 2026. We were relieved to learn this was incorrect during our stay! The breakfast buffet was excellent; the staff helped us find good local restaurants and provided excellent, accurate advice when our pre-paid tour to Notre Dame was abruptly canceled. The location was excellent and within a short walking distance of restaurants and a grocery store. It was in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this hotel!
