“Small but pretty rooms, better for a short stay”
Le Petit Pali is beautifully designed and has a charming, boutique atmosphere. The outdoor space is attractive and inviting. The property is also within about a 15-minute walk of several good restaurants, and we enjoyed walking to dinner one evening. Overall, it's a good option for a short stay.
Our two rooms were thoughtfully decorated but quite small, and there were no in-room thermostats to adjust the temperature. We found the rooms comfortable for sleeping, but a bit cool for relaxing during the day. Our biggest disappointment was the water policy. A standalone photo of bottled water on the Booking.com listing led us to believe complimentary bottled water was available. When we went to take a bottle from the lobby, we learned that it is not complimentary. The bottled water provided in each room at check-in isn't replenished and can't be refilled during multi-night stays, although staff will refill personal water bottles that guests bring from home. Because we had flown in with limited luggage, we had just one personal bottle between the four of us that could be refilled. We were also surprised that breakfast included only coffee or tea, with no water or juice available, even for children. For our three-night stay with two adults and two teens in two rooms, we would have appreciated more space and free water, at least with the included breakfast.
