“Compact, clean, decent location but a few noise niggles, especially Friday night”
Owner communicated well using WhatsApp. The location was quite good for tourists like us that like walking around. The building was in very good condition and the flat was very clean. The broadband was super, running at 500Mb/s. The main rooms had ceiling fans and the whole apartment had aircon. There were a few welcome cake snacks. The kitchen had just enough pans with lids.
The coffee machine wasn't a convenient Nespresso machine for making proper espressos, instead it was a Dolce Gusto machine, which simply makes pod-based instant coffee and the pods supplied were for milky drinks. There weren't enough for one drink each, each day. There was a small leak from the hot water tank in the bathroom but a small bucket was placed to catch the drips... just be sure to line it with a paper towel so that you don't hear it all night. The bedside lamps are unbelievably bright, the bulbs need swapping out. The bathroom sink does not have a plug. The kitchen sink does have a plug but it doesn't work due to the black rubber seal/face being totally degraded... needs replacing (see photo). If you leave the temperature of the rather small hot water cylinder quite high (>60deg C is a risk of scalding) then two people can have generous showers before the hot water runs out. The kitchen is tiny and the hob only has two zones. The neighbours were generally quiet but one did wake us briefly at 6:30am each day, before they left at 7:30am and one woke us up with their alarm at 1am once. Friday night was noisy on and off until the early hours.

“Great location and a cozy home”
The location and the neighbourhood was great. The kitchen has all the things you need if you want to cook.
