The staff was very great and kind, especially waiter Šemsudin from breakfast. Rooms were very clean and good looking. Beds are so comfy. Food was also great and different every morning.

Everything was great! Great location, great breakfast, helpful staff ☺️

“A eventful stay in Istanbul”

This hotel is in the perfect location to access the places of interest on foot which is always great. There is also a very good tram service within 5 minutes walking. The reception staff were very nice and friendly and were happy to answer any questions. It's not a very busy hotel so there was never any areas that were overcrowded. Breakfast was on the 7th floor roof terrace which was lovely. The area was small and one morning we had finished breakfast and were just chatting and we were told the table was needed. No problem. I would say that, the person i presumed to be the manager, came across a little rude in his engagement. I appreciate he has to keep things moving but put a smile on it, it goes a long way. The area outside the hotel was busy and sometimes you could hear the noise but that's just life.

The pick-up from the airport could have been better, i expected the driver to have my name on a list and check me off as i arrived, nope. That made me a little cautious as to who they were. i had no signal on my phone, so they gave me the wifi code to download the meeting video i'd been sent. It still didn't download. It apparently contained the name of the agent who booked it. Without that they were unable to function it would appear. Thankfully i found some screen shots i'd saved, which showed the name of the agent. Without that name they had no clue who they were taking where. Not a great start, poor booking system. Eventually I was shuffled off into a van to be taken to the hotel. The driver drove like he had nothing left to live for, my only thought was that even driving like that he was still alive, so i had a chance. I arrived at the hotel and all went well. The room had a couple of issues i could overlook. The sink stopper did not work. The door to the balcony was off one of its hinges and the security door chain was too short to meet the runner. As always, i put a chair behind the doors at night as added security. The balcony door was fixed by day 2, must have been reported by the cleaner. I booked a Turkish bath believing that it would be a female as i am a female and when i booked they didn't ask for a preference or mention that there was one. To my horror, the man i presumed was working the SPA reception, changed clothes and was now only wearing a loin cloth. When he came to get me out of the sauna, i asked if he was doing my Turkish bath and he said yes. I said i would like a female. He didn't appear to understand my concern as a women, going into a room with a man who would be washing my body. He called a female but neither reassured me or apologised for the mix-up. I raised it with reception who did the booking and they apologised. It did leave me a little alarmed how SPA guy couldn't understand my concern.
