“Lacking in some areas.”
Great location as an alternate hotel if visiting the Tampa Bay Area. Less than 20 mins to the downtown area. Rooms are standard but somewhat neglected. We stayed in rm 501 and it's showing signs of aging. TV volume was off. We had it crank up to 45-50 on the tv and could barely hear it. Mold in the far corner of the shower and the facet cover was loose. We tried the pool and it was very accommodating after a hot day of sightseeing. Appreciated the close proximity from the pool to the main elevators. Only had the continental breakfast once during our two night stay and honestly was displeased. Was subpar compared to other Hilton brand hotels. No flavor and nothing was warm. The final issue was safety of the elevators. No certificate posted in the either elevators but just a handwritten number, and max weight. According to Florida statute 399 "The certificate of operation must be posted in a conspicuous location on the elevator and must be framed with a transparent cover. (3) The certificate of operation shall contain the text of s. 823.12, relating to the prohibition against smoking in elevators. (4) In addition to subsection (3), the designation “NO SMOKING” along with the international symbol for no smoking shall be conspicuously displayed within the interior of the elevator in the plain view of the public." None of these were not posted. Hopefully this review gets some attention by the hotel management

“Wonderful stay, highly recommend”
I stayed at Home 2 Suites with my husband and 2 year old son. We booked a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful size and was very clean. I slept very well on the mattress which was provided, usually I have issues with the mattresses in hotels because they are typically too soft or lumpy for me, but this one was just right. I had some assistance prior to checking in with Valerie. She was very kind, patient and professional. I was extremely happy with the level of service I received from her. I also like that the rooms are refreshed every other day. Overall I was extremely happy with our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely book again!

“Good relaxing stay”
We stayed for 3 nights visiting family in the area. The hotel is newly renovated and pleasant. Nice big TV s ,good blinds, quiet. The only and major downside were the bedsheets. They are paper-thin and slide off whenever you turn in your sleep. Would highly recommend changing to proper cotton bedding! For the rest no complaints about the quality and the value for money. The staff was all great and friendly, especially the ladies during the breakfast service Xiomara and Valerie!Big shout out to those two sweethearts!
