Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale North/Cypress Creek

The bar/cafe in the lobby was convenient, though I only used it once, due to my schedule. Room was comfortable. Desk chair, likewise.

Desk clerks were hard to find. I suspect that this hotel has had trouble finding workers. The comfortable chair in the room was right next to the HVAC unit so the air blows right on you when you sit there. (nice that it had an ottman, though.) They only make up the room if you request it, and that means that they often miss your room even if you have made the request. Built-in USB receptacles are tired and don't make good contact. In my first room, there was a clock with good USB receptacles but in my second room there was not clock. I asked for one but the desk clerk did not think that they had clocks in any of their rooms so nothing was done.

When we pulled at this location, my wife said were not staying here are we? I said, we are. What's the problem. Yes, the outside seems a bit old and drabby, but the location, the neighbourhood is nice and it does not reflect 7th St or what it's called, up the street. Going in, the reception and the main floor are very nice and fresh. I kinda like that it's NOT modern. The pool area and the interior court are very shady and welcoming. It makes you want to stay. Going up to the rooms. What would make me want to come back to this hotel is that it is in BAD NEED of headboards (not these rickety foam . covered made up thugs) and PROPER queen size beds. Please??? I want to come back. That's the reason for.thr 2*. The property, otherwise, is very nice. Don't cheap out!!

The staff were AMAZING! Especially Victoria she was very helpful. The facility was also very clean.
