It was my wife birthday . I asked to be moved from a room with a view of the back parking lot to a room with a view of the pool.

“It was concerning that a washcloth appeared to have been tossed over a smoke detector in our room and a towel was stuck”

“Not Worth the Stay”

Our room's air conditioner was not working properly and failed to cool the room as it should. I reported the issue to both the front desk and the manager. The manager later inspected the unit and informed us that it had frozen up, but no effort was made to resolve the issue during our stay, nor were we offered any credit or adjustment for the inconvenience. The front desk was staffed by a young employee who appeared to be in training and seemed uncertain about how to handle guest concerns. While everyone has to learn, it would have been more appropriate to have a more experienced staff member available to assist and supervise. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Although the rooms appeared to have been recently remodeled, they were not well maintained or thoroughly cleaned. The hallways and elevators were also noticeably dirty, which left a poor impression. Because of the overall lack of cleanliness throughout the property, we chose not to eat the complimentary breakfast, as we were not confident in the hotel's food preparation and sanitation standards. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations, and we would not stay here again.
