- Location
- Platja d'Aro is two kilometres of continuous sand on the southern half of the Costa Brava, backed by a shopping street. S'Agaró and Sant Feliu are minutes either side.
- Dining
- The town is commercial rather than characterful. Palamós, twenty minutes north, has the fishing port and the better restaurants.
- Transit
- Girona Airport is about 40 minutes, Barcelona around an hour and a half. Buses connect the coast towns; a car helps for the coves.
