“Luxurious and welcoming”
My husband had a milestone birthday this year, and we stayed at the Waldorf for his birthday weekend. It was the first time we have ever stayed in one, but we are Hilton Honors members and made good use of our points to book a special stay! This was such a wonderful experience for us. Every single person we interacted with at the hotel from the moment we stepped out of our car was warm, welcoming and helpful. The level of service was spectacular. From Andrea at the front desk who checked us in and upgraded us to a room with a wonderful view, to Steve, the bellhop who brought all of our bags to our room and seeing we were seniors offered us a golf cart ride to Signia if we wanted, to Tyler, our server at Peacock Alley and aspiring actor we are waiting to see on our TV's - they all made us feel valued and special. Every meal we ate from the sprawling breakfast buffet to the meals in Peacock alley to the boxed salads we got in the Park Avenue Cafe were all fresh and delicious. Our room was spacious, outfitted with a split mini bar and fridge, a safe, a Nespresso machine, a chair, both a walk in shower and a nice deep tub, to the coziest beds and linens - it was s relaxing and comfortable. We were there during a massive heat wave, so to leave the 108 degrees of the parks and to come back to that cool, comfortable room was a delight. We loved the bus service to the parks - we parked our car for the weekend and forgot about it and got door to door service to all the parks. What a wonderful perk! We are already planning to come back in December - we are now forever smitten with this hotel!
