“Modern Hotel with Pool Deck”

Beautiful, modern hotel with the boutique-y vibe that’s a hallmark of the W brand. Our room was large and including a double sink vanity and wonderful rain head shower with excellent water pressure and heat. The hotel also has a “wet deck” pool area consisting of a shallow pool for wading, comfortable lounger chairs and a full service bar with cocktails and bites. We spent an afternoon there and the service was excellent. We had breakfast one morning in the indoor/outdoor restaurant and the offerings were plentiful including à la carte and buffet options. We also had drinks in the upscale W Lounge. Our only issue was that we found ants in our room on the morning of the last day of our stay. We have no idea where they came from as we did not leave any food out in the room. We reported this issue and did receive some compensation but it was off-putting to have had this issue at a pricey hotel.
