This hotel is an absolute gem on Lake Las Vegas. It is quiet and beautiful place to stay for those seeking a place to unwind by the pool or the numerous terraces and patios. Restaurants on site are nice too.

“Hotel Needs Help, Employees are AMAZING!”

I felt the need to write a review because, while we've always loved staying here, this visit was very different. I'll start by saying that this hotel has some significant maintenance issues that I hope management will address. We were originally placed on the third floor, and I didn't realize just how dark and depressing those rooms were until we were moved to another room later in our stay. The difference was remarkable. Our room's air conditioning stopped working and eventually began blowing hot air during a weekend when temperatures were well over 100 degrees. On top of that, the toilet leaked from the base, flooding the bathroom floor and making the room feel damp and swamp-like. We understood that, because of the Fourth of July holiday, there weren't any rooms available to move us immediately. However, once we were finally relocated, we wished we had been placed in a higher-floor room from the beginning. I work in a very stressful job, and this getaway was something I truly needed. Having a room with more natural light and working air conditioning would have made a huge difference. I'm sharing these concerns in the hope that the hotel takes notice and invests in updating and maintaining the property. We've been coming here for years, and this is the first time I've ever been disappointed in the condition of the hotel. What kept this from being a negative experience overall was the staff. They absolutely deserve recognition. Throughout every issue we encountered, every employee treated us with kindness, patience, and professionalism. I never once saw anyone roll their eyes, become defensive, or lose their composure. The two true rock stars are Wendy and Z. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Wendy took the time to truly listen to everything we had experienced. She genuinely cared, showed empathy, and spent nearly 40 minutes helping us get everything resolved. It meant so much to feel heard after such a frustrating stay. When we returned later, we were helped by Z, who was one of the most respectful, professional, and genuinely kind young men we've encountered. He represents this hotel exceptionally well, and I believe he has an amazing future with the company. Employees like Wendy and Z are exactly why guests return. I'm sorry that I had to point out the property's shortcomings, but I also believe outstanding employees deserve to be recognized. The hotel itself has work to do, but the staff is truly exceptional and is the reason I would consider coming back.
