“a dive that could be so much more.... but isn't. so don't expect it to be anything like the pictures”
the front service area is very pleasant and the staff were professional
A Diamond in the Rough, But Currently a Shabby Mess Verdict: Checked out early. Avoid for at least 6 months. It doesn't need better service; it needs a total physical renovation. The Good Excellent layout and fantastic shutter blinds. The building has great potential. The Bad (Why We Left Early) Severe Wear & Tear: Everything from the shower fittings to the carpets and mirrors is in a sad state of decay. Construction Chaos: Builders left mud trails in the hallways, and construction materials blocked the car park, making maneuvering a nightmare. "Teen Dorm" Vibes: Staff handwrite notes directly onto the elevator mirrors, and the room decor feels cheap, dog-eared, and outdated. The Atmosphere: Smelling marijuana in the elevator on our way out was the perfect reflection of how far this place has slipped. Summary: We relocated to another hotel, where the staff confirmed Pol & Grace has taken a massive dive. It has "good bones," but it is currently an active, messy construction zone. Do not waste your money here until the physical renovations are 100% complete—which won't be for at least another six months. Pol & Grace needs a total overhaul before it is fit for paying guests.
