“Misleading "driveway not available" with no support yet still exorbitant $48 parking”

They forewarned me in March 2026 that their driveway wasn't available. Usually this means the hotel can fix the issue by end of August 2026, and they will make accommodations to make the customer experience better. NOPE! Instead, imagine lining up for 15 minutes to get into a shared airport parking ramp behind the hotel, lugging a family trip's worth of luggage from the parking ramp (no bell hop), the hotel doesn't have enough luggage carts (the one they had was broken, but luckily we found an airport luggage cart outside), and they're going to still charge you $48/night to park there!

“Very nice hotel”

It is next door to the LAX. Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Good hotel for the price. Very generous free breakfast. The restaurant and bar are nice and good food. Free shuttle to the airport. One caveat was the housekeeping . It is every other day and by request and the parking is on the expensive side

Gym was amazing, room was amazing - we have stayed there a lot of times.

Very few tables to accommodate all the guests at breakfast, creating long lines. We have not been there during the summer before and it had been fine. It was a bit challenging this time, without spoiling anything though.

A touch of class and historic charm. Staff are amazing and made the stay memorable. Special compliments to Mandy at the pool bar and Tyler at the lobby bar. You are both fantastic people and a credit to JDV Barnett.
