“Good location, but poor housekeeping, noise and frustrating lift waits”

The location is good, close to restaurants and NY Penn Station. The room was fairly spacious and included tea and coffee facilities as well as a useful fridge.

The room was dirty on arrival, with dust, hair and sticky marks on the floor. Housekeeping had already finished for the day, and the floor was never cleaned properly during my stay. Staff also repeatedly knocked or tried to enter despite the “Privacy” sign. Housekeeping later removed one of my bags, assuming it was rubbish, and I had to contact the hotel to get it back. The manager was quite defensive about this. The lifts were often occupied by housekeeping carts, causing long waits during the day. The room was also poorly soundproofed, with noticeable street noise in the mornings.

Eccezionale la posizione. Centralissima, servita in modo eccellente, ma defilata al punto giusto per essere molto tranquilla.

La pulizia era un po’ approssimativa, ma almeno veniva fatta tutti i giorni. Qualche problema sugli asciugamani: non erano sempre per tutti.

The location was very convenient, easily accessible from Penn Station. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room feels cramped and the sink in our bathroom was clogged when we first used it, called the front desk to request for a new room. They sent a facilities guy to unclogged it, said something about the sink cover needs replacement, never came back to replace it.
